Story
The Rare Breeds Survival Trust is a national registered charity (no.269442) dedicated to the conservation of the UK's native breeds of farm animal. Since RBST was formed in 1973, no native breed has been lost. We maintain the RBST National Gene Bank; develop breeding conservation programmes; work with breed societies and promote the important role native breeds play in the conservation of genetic diversity, landscape management, agriculture and as part of our heritage.
