Routes supports women seeking sanctuary to overcome barriers to employment and education, build confidence and learn new skills. To kick off this year's Refugee Week, we are hosting a bake sale at our office - Better Space - to raise money to support our work. The theme for Refugee Week is COURAGE. We see courage demonstrated by members of our community every single day. Courage to step outside their comfort zone, courage to learn something new, courage to rebuild a new life in London. We're fundraising so that we can continue providing welcoming and supportive spaces for refugee and asylum-seeking women, and provide opportunities that honour the courage it takes to begin again.
