Shadwell Basin Outdoor Activity Centre www.shadwell-basin.co.uk Transforming young lives through outdoor activities, Our rowing crew will be rowing from Crosshaven to the Atlantic and back into Cork City in Ireland (Ocean to City Race) All the money raised will go to support the ongoing valuable work that the centre does for the local & wider London community. Shadwell Activity Centre is a purpose built centre between the River Thames and Shadwell basin in the East End of London, providing at an affordable cost, the facilities, equipment and instruction to encourage people of all ages, backgrounds, cultures and abilities to enjoy themselves while developing skills on, in and beside the water. These adventurous outdoor activities can be lifechanging for young people, including those with disabilities, to achieve success through gaining confidence, determination and inspiration, improving young people's expectations of what they can achieve.
