Our charity screens films chosen by the community and priced to allow all to come and be entertained with their neighbours. We don't want cost to be something that precludes anyone getting out of their house and joining in and so invite donations to enable us to maintain our low ticket prices. We feel that we provide a much needed vehicle for bringing people together, especially those who find it difficult to engage with others, villagers living alone, and those struggling financially. 100% of your donation goes toward this valuable resource which is currently struggling due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We also offer free transport for those locals unable to reach us under their own steam. The whole operation is run by volunteers who donate their time; we require at least 15 for each film and more are always welcome.
We would love to discuss sponsorship of a film or a season with philanthropic individuals or businesses looking to promote themselves.
