Story
WE DID IT! You can see photos I took randomly on my phone as we went along by following the web link to Dropbox. Here's what I originally posted to inform potential donors about the project: Early on the morning of Thursday 23 June I will meet a select band of people who have risen to the challenge of cycling from Brighton to Paris to raise funds for 2 excellent local charities. First we ride to Newhaven, then ferry to Dieppe. If all goes according to plan, we cycle into Paris on Saturday 25 and return by Eurostar on Sunday. We will cycle around 50 miles a day for 3 days. As a local health professional I have been very impressed with The Martlets Hospice and their holistic support for people with life-shortening illnesses and their families. Last year I experienced this more closely as a family member and was even more impressed. The Argus Appeal seeks to meet local needs in a responsive and responsible way. Charities, organisations or individuals may apply for support and this is assessed by the Trustees case by case. Nicholas Owen is the Patron. You can sponsor me by distance or simply make a donation... please!
