Hi my name is Sara and I volunteer at living on and we are a donation funded charity. It is a charity filled with selfless people who help support young children and their families during challenging times that occur when they experience bereavement. We volunteer in local schools and hold monthly help points where parents and kids can come along and escape the bubble of isolation and sadness while experiencing a loss in the family home. I will be participating on a walk up the Snowdonia mountain in wales on the 9th of May. I have chose to do this walk to raise money as a symbol of the great resilience and strength it takes to process a family loss and I have seen this strength in the young children and families I have come across the last year. I am so proud to be part of Living on and participate in the great difference they can and have made to families during such hard times. The money I raise will give living on the ability to continue there great services.
