Story

I started working with people in recovery and homelessness in 2002. Even though my 'career' has changed a few times, I never stopped volunteering, supporting and coaching people toward a better future. I married into Chorley in 2004 and have always loved the place. It frustrated me to see an increase in Supported Housing Projects that were bringing too many people from out of town to fill empty beds for profit and increasing the number of people in homelessness and recovery in Chorley. I had to do something about it, so, Heart for Chorley was born. Registered charity number 1201928.
