Jun Mo Generation is a Hackney-based non-profit dedicated to preserving East Asian arts and promoting community well-being through award-winning cultural celebrations. For over 35 years, we’ve brought vibrant performances to iconic events like the Notting Hill Carnival, earning recognition for our creativity and cultural impact. We regularly showcase our signature dragon dances, flag parades, and intricate costumes at every Hackney Carnival, celebrating our heritage while uniting communities through creativity and tradition. Through teaching Asian flag and martial arts performances, we inspire individuals of all ages to connect with their heritage, build confidence, and develop skills in traditional arts. Our workshops in Asian arts and crafts offer a vibrant, hands-on experience for young and old alike, exploring everything from East Asian lion shield making to dragon bag crafting. We also work with elderly members of the community, offering activities that support their physical health and mental well-being, ensuring our programs benefit all generations.
