Three days. Roughly 58 miles. One ferry crossing across the Solent. Day 1: Totton to Lymington, then the ferry over to Yarmouth, Isle of Wight. Day 2: Yarmouth to Niton, along the island's south west coast. Day 3: Niton back up to Cowes. We're doing this for Caring 4 Our Carers (C4OC), a community interest company set up by my dad, working with the Rose Road Association, a charity supporting children with disabilities. C4OC raises money to fund respite awards for Rose Road's carers and staff, people who spend their working lives looking after others and rarely get a proper break themselves. Prizes range from vouchers to a fully paid stay at Casa Mama Mia, our family's B&B in Portugal. Every pound raised goes toward one of those awards.
