About
💚🧡💙One of our amazing members Sophia wants to raise money for mASCot by swimming the Pier to Pier experience💚🧡💙 Sophia says “ it will be the first time I’ve taken part in any organised event. It also means I might end up swimming in much choppier conditions than I might ordinarily choose. Sea swimming has become an invaluable aid to preserving my own mental health whilst we struggle to support our teenager. Suddenly we’re living day to day. No one can offer a solution and there are days when we feel overwhelmed and hopeless. Amidst all this doom and gloom we have found a safe little space full of other parents in the same situation. Many of them have much sadder stories than we do but we’re all sharing the struggle of caring for a neurodiverse child. So many thanks to the special local, parent lead organisation, that is mASCot for helping to hold us together. Swimming a kilometre in choppy seas is not an easy task and although I will be praying for calm water it would be great if anyone wanted to sponsor me.” 🧡100% of all donations to mASCot go direct towards supporting mASCot families, so every contribution, small or large go a long way in mASCot🧡 Thank you Sophia for choosing mASCot 💚🧡💙 💚 https://brightonpier2pier.com/ 💙 https://asc-mascot.com/
