Story

Star raises money for schools and clubs through the recycling of unwanted items; the funds raised can be spent on sport, art, drama, music, equipment or sessions, or to help keep club’s expenses down. Through the money raised, we help sponsor young people to help them achieve their goals, to keep them creative and active, we also provide free swimming sessions in five counties.

Through our shops, we recycle furniture providing very low cost furnishing for families in our community, and also opportunities for people gain experience and valuable social skills to encourage them back into the work environment. Star have either employed or helped members of our community that would not have normally have been given a chance and that is why our volunteer program is one of the most successful in the area.
