650 Miles 32 Counties 5 Days For Charity
Story

The people of Termonmaguirc are on the move again and as usual all in aid of good causes. In 2009 eighteen hardy souls spend ten gruelling days on foot from Cork to Carrickmore raising tremendous funds to benefit cancer charities. That group were emulating a similar enterprise twenty five years earlier that raised much needed funds for an equally worthy cause. The 2016 model of the fund raising endeavour is now on the road. This year’s group may have the benefit of wheels, but still the project is no less punishing.
BETWEEN THE 12TH AND 16TH JULY 2016. 13 TERMONMAGUIRC CYCLISTS WILL TAKE ON THE MOUNTMENTAL TASK OF CYCLING THROUGH THE 32 COUNTIES OF IRELAND IN 5 DAYS, A DISTANCE OF APPROXIMATELY 130 MILES PER DAY BACK TO BACK TO MAKE UP A COMBINED TOTAL DISTANCE OF 650 MILES..
THE AIM OF THIS CYCLE WILL BE TO RAISE MUCH NEEDED FUNDS FOR 2 GREAT LOCAL CHARTIES AND THIS EVENT WILL BE TOTALLY FUNDED BY ALL PARTICIPANTS TAKING PART, WHICH INCLUDE CYCLISTS AND BACK UP TEAMS..
ALL MONEY RASIED BY SPONSORSHIP WILL GO DIRECTLY TO BOTH CHARITIES..
