Powerchair Football has been a sport I've been playing in my spare time for years. It has helped me learn unique skills and allowed me to make friends with many people over the years. I joined the sport partially due to having Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, which is a severe muscle wasting condition. This meant it became increasingly difficult to get into a sport. Powerchair Football is one of the sports which has helped many people with severe disabilities, like me to get into sport. Due to all the support I've received from my club, Nottinghamshire Powerchair Football Club, I personally want to thank the club by raising money. Even during this difficult time, the club ensured we had all the support we needed to continue working on our progression. The fundraising page has been setup via Givey. It will last until the end of October as to give people time to donate to the page. I may extend the deadline depending on how well this fundraising effort goes. I intend to use the funds to support the club in the purchase of new equipment that players need. This funding should hopefully enable our teams to compete at the highest level in the sport.
