At The Family Place Foundation, we are dedicated to improving the lives of adopted, fostered, and kinship children - and the families who care for them - who have been significantly affected by trauma. Across England and Wales, we deliver projects that create safe, nurturing spaces that bring families together, strengthen connection, and build resilience for the future.

Working in close partnership with leading UK practitioners, we provide a wide range of therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of families. These include Family Activity Days that create joy and connection, specialist workshops and consultations offering practical tools, residential Family Camps that immerse families in healing, and training for professionals who support care-experienced children. We also facilitate group work for children and young people, advocacy initiatives, and projects that amplify the voices of care-experienced young people.

Each intervention is carefully designed to create safe, supportive spaces where families can begin healing from trauma, strengthen relationships, and grow their sense of belonging.
