raised of £33,600 target from 3 people

WaterHarvest has promised to provide 720 people with 120 life changing roof rain water harvesting systems which cost £280 each. Can you help? Woman and girls in rural India spend a third of their time finding water, sacrificing their future opportunities of an education, or a chance of a better life. These woman and girls face ... daily vulnerability to abuse and danger as they walk, having no choice but to drink the only available water which is unsafe and contaminated, disease and illness from the dangerously high levels of fluoride in the water, which can cause damage to bones and teeth, stomach upsets and skin disease and inequality as women are still excluded from decisions about water use, its distribution and management. Our Promise ... if women and their families are able to effectively capture the monsoon rains they can gain personal safety with water at home, gain better drinking water that improves health, gain freedom to go to school and spend time with the family, gain income and reduce crippling poverty, and gain independence and equality in the community through Water Councils and Self-Help Groups. A roof rainwater harvesting system, that captures and stores the limited, precious rain, is a promise of a better future but only if we can provide them! Thank you for visiting our Givey page.
