Story
28% of children in Dundee City are currently living in poverty……. On 22nd August 2015 James Myles, Stephen Maddison and myself are Cycling 300 miles in 24 hrs between Newcastle and London as part of the "Ride 24" event. http://www.ride24hr.com/newcastle-to-london-24 We would like to help a local organisation and we found "Togs for Tots" based here in Dundee. This small enterprise supplies clothes and equipment for babies, children and expectant mothers living in crisis. They rely on the public donating second-hand clothing and equipment to them and thereafter, via a professional referral system, they deliver the right items to the right families at their moment of greatest need. Please visit their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/togsfortotsdundee/info?tab=page_info Because they are not a registered charity we have set up this crowd-funding page. Our intention is to offer a modest donation to this fantastic cause and hopefully make a difference to the most vulnerable in Dundee and Angus. If you are not familiar with “Crowd Funding” it’s the easiest way to raise money for projects that do not yet have a charity registration. Our intention is to raise a little money and thereafter invest it in the Togs for Tots organisation in the most efficient and productive way. We are turning our pedals to turn your cash in to Togs for Tots!! Kindest regards Keith Anderson, James Myles, Stephen Maddison
