Ladies' Lounge is run by caring women who help vulnerable women. It is a women's-only drop-in centre in Torquay set up to support women in Torbay in need of emotional support, advice and information. Specifically targeting those women suffering from mental health problems, domestic abuse, street workers, street sleeping, and substance misuse issues. We offer a safe friendly calming environment and open our warm hearts every Monday 11.30am-2pm and Wednesdays 1.30pm-4pm at the Salvation Army building, Market Street, Torquay. We run a craft table and offer free lunch on a Monday and teas/ coffees and cake both days. We always want new volunteers too so please consider coming to help, even just 1 session a month helps us enormously.
