Me (Abbie) and my partner Keiran, will be taking on the Welsh 3 Peak Challenge on the 1st of June this year. This marks one year since our 2 year old son Archie was diagnosed with a type of liver Cancer. After 8 months of intense chemotherapy and a big operation, Archie has finished his treatment and we’re hopeful that soon he will be able to “Ring the Bell”! Archie’s’ cancer journey has been incredibly hard and extremely emotional. The Harry Johnson trust is a charity that supports families going through really tough times, and they’ve supported us so much. They help with making hospital stays easier/more comfortable. They have bought gifts/vouchers for Archie. They have helped financially with the cost of traveling to hospital for cancer treatment. And they have covered the cost of hotels whilst Archie had his operation. Durning a really tough, emotional and stressful time, this charity made things easier, and we really want to give back and thank them for the support they’ve shown to us and our little boy.
