Community woodwork sessions to improve mental health
Story
We work to improve wellbeing through woodwork. We run various relaxed and open social woodwork sessions within the community, aimed at helping people with mental health issues, reducing isolation and improving wellbeing through making and learning together. We are also currently running an exciting project at a Primary school in Limehouse, London introducing the joys of woodwork to children. Every donation made goes towards: -buying materials for those who can't afford it, -development and expansion of our service within the community maintenance of existing and purchasing of new tools to broaden our appeal to those who might need it. The donate page (website default that we can't change) has very high recommended donations. Any thing at all will go towards things like sand paper, a new lathe, a whole extra day of sessions: specifically outreach sessions aiming at Refugees, AA attendees, Elderly people, GP attenders. Thanks a huge amount
