💚 Our Story, At Waste2Taste, we believe good food should never go to waste — and everyone deserves access to a nutritious, delicious meal. We’re an Oxford-based Community Interest Company tackling food waste, climate change, and food insecurity. Every day, we rescue high-quality surplus ingredients and transform them into healthy meals served with kindness through our Community Café, Catering Service, and Free Meals Programme. In 2024 alone, we saved 5.7 tonnes of good food from ending up in landfill — food that’s instead been shared with our community. By delivering our catering orders exclusively by bike or electric van (thanks to our friends at Velocity Cycle Couriers), we’ve also prevented 384.5 kg of CO₂e emissions. We’re proud to be part of the OX4 Food Crew — an alliance of nine grassroots organisations working together to ensure that everyone in OX4 has enough food, is well nourished, and can thrive. Since April 2020, our Free Meals have been a lifeline for hundreds of local residents facing isolation and financial insecurity. Whether through our Freezer of Love or our Kindness Menu at the café, each meal represents more than nourishment — it’s a moment of care, dignity, and connection. 💛 Every donation helps us rescue more surplus food, cook more free meals, and reach more people who need support.
